Welcome, here we want to announce that Linforus 1.0.1 is released!

What is Linforus?

Linforus is one of the many linux distribution available for you to download and use freely. Linforus is not a completely new linux distribution as it is a customization of Kubuntu 8.10 that comes with new and extra applications.

Are Linforus really free?

Yes, Linforus is released under GPLv2 license and we ensure that you can use and distribute it free of charge and as many as you like. Please note that if you live in a country where audio-video codecs are forbidden, you are using Linforus at your own risc. We do not support any legal problems that you may have.

Why Linforus?

• Linforus comes with Kde 4.2 the latest stable KDE release which is user friendly yet beautiful.
• Linforus supports nearly all video and audio format.
• Daily use applications like web browser, web chatting tools, downloading tools, multimedia player, photo viewing tools, office suite and etc are included in Linforus, you no need to waste your time downloading and configuring those packages.

What to expect in future release?

We hope that Linforus will be build from scratch completely in the future, that means future release of Linforus may not be customized Kubuntu but a completely new linux distribution.
